Avoid additional fees by reviewing the following tips.
- Be sure to arrive on time to avoid additional fees for rental extensions. The location may permit you to be up to 30 minutes late, but that isn't guaranteed.
- Walk around your car to review for damage
- Return the car (relatively) clean and with a full tank of gas (unless you purchased the advance fuel purchase option)
- Triple check for personal belongings (chargers, phones, toys, money, etc.)
- Be sure to return all of the keys! Replacement keys can be very expensive
- If no one is available to check your car in, you can protect yourself by taking thorough pictures of the condition of the car (inside and out), documenting the date/time of the return, mileage, and where the keys were returned
