Travel protection plans are highly recommended to help cover the non-refundable costs of your vacation and expenses while on vacation for certain reasons. While not every situation is covered by trip protection many unforeseen situations are.

General Information
- Review the email and coverage details in full
- Policy is fully refundable if you elect to cancel the policy within 10 days of the purchase date and prior to your trip's start date. You may cancel from your confirmation email during this period.
- Cancellation of this policy after the 10 day period is not refundable, but the paid value may be used towards new travel plans with a certain period of time. Contact Allianz for cancellation outside of the free cancellation period for additional details
- Claims need to be opened directly with Allianz due to privacy reasons as proof of the claim will be required
- Claims must be submitted in a timely manner
Car Rentals and the protection plan
- Please review your email in full from Allianz detailing coverage information
- Protection plans on car rentals are fully refundable until the rental vehicle is picked up.
- This policy covers the rental vehicle, but does not provide liability coverage. Liability coverage is offered by most rental companies at the counter
- This policy is not accepted by all locations, contact Allianz if it is refused to request a refund
- Some locations and companies may require their own protection plans to be purchased
- If cancelled online within 10 days of purchase and prior to your car's pick up date a full refund will automatically be processed. To cancel after this time, please contact Allianz
